Elaine Uang
Founder
Elaine is an architect / developer with over 20 years of experience in architecture, city collaboration, and nonprofit partnerships. She has experience designing and developing a range of housing typologies, but currently focuses on small-scale infill housing—duplexes, townhomes, and co-housing clusters to make housing more attainable for middle-income residents.
She specializes in turning overlooked opportunities into housing models that are beautiful, functional, and replicable. With deep experience in entitlements, permitting, design coordination, technical detailing, and project management, Elaine brings pragmatic solutions and delightful outcomes to every project.
Through Live Plenty Homes, Elaine's goal is not just to build homes—but to expand possibilities, inspire others to do the same, and grow a network of mission-driven developers who want to create a housing abundance to support Bay Area individuals, families, communities.
